At The Layla Bug Project, we believe in finding ways to improve the likelihood of positive encounters between public safety and those on the spectrum, those with special needs, who are differently abled, have a sensory sensitivity, or some other impairment that might make such encounters more difficult for all parties to navigate. This project is inspired by my Daughter Layla who is on the Autism spectrum, has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome, and is nonverbal with mobility challenges. We make our basic 4x4 Awareness stickers available free of charge. Request one here:
